SWOT ANALYSIS

Strengths: I know how to use many editing apps on the computer like premier pro, photoshop cc etc. I'm quite detailed and pay attention to very little things when something interests me.

Weaknesses: My writing skills are not very good as I cannot use the right word order in my sentences. sometimes.

Opportunities: I know about hoe the media works. I follow the news all the time. I also know about the things that many journalists go through when they're working. I find all of these very interesting. I have also completed a work experience last year which can also be an opportunity.

Threats: Many employers would prefer experienced workers. My chance of finding the job I want is a bit low.

5 YEAR PLAN

YEAR 1: In a years time hopefully I will finish college and start looking for a university.

YEAR 2: Hopefully I will be studying journalism in university. I will be on my first year studying this course.

YEAR 3: I will carry on studying journalism. I will be on the year 2 studing the journalism course.

YEAR 4: I will be on the third and the last year studying journalism in university.

YEAR 5: I will finish university and start looking for a real journalism job.

SELF EVALUATION

I have completed my work experience. For the work experience I had to choose a place that was related to my course. even though I tried unfortunately I couldn't find the job that I really wanted. Therefore, I went to a restaurant and done my work experience there. My task in this restaurant was to do advertising online (social media) and reply to emails that comes from the customers for the restaurant. I worked in that place from 13th of June until 4th of July (not everyday). I have only worked on Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday (9 am -5 pm) every week from 13th of June till 4th of July.  I have completed my 100 hour work experience which I enjoyed quite a bit.
